St Charbel’s Maronite Community
St Charbel’s Care Centre is an integral part of the Maronite Community of Western Sydney administered by St Charbel’s Care Centre Ltd under the auspice of the Lebanese Maronite Order of Monks.
St Charbel’s Care Centre was born in response to the rising aged care needs among the elderly within our Maronite community. Its location forms an important component of St Charbel’s Church and our K-12 College and Educational Precinct in Punchbowl.
St Charbel’s Care Centre enables ease of access to St Charbel’s Church, Community Events, Pastoral Care and a full range of intergenerational activities associated with the co-located St Charbel’s Church and College. It is part of our vision to enable the elderly to retain their active role within the Maronite Community.
St Charbel’s Care Centre prioritises dignity, respect and independence for older members from all walks of life, and embodies the Gospel values of justice, peace, love, compassion, acceptance, generosity and service.
St Charbel’s Care Centre celebrates the tradition and history of the Maronite Catholic Church. We strive to ensure residents live within a caring, secure and homelike environment which promotes the celebration of lifetime experience and culture.
St Charbel’s Care Centre is a purpose-designed building incorporating secure basement car-parking, lift access, spacious lounges, dining and sitting areas. The building also features secure outdoor spaces, well-appointed living accommodation as well as meeting rooms and an on-site Chapel for those unable to access the co-located St Charbel’s Church.
